Verge Partner Dr. Ray Radosevich recently spoke at the Innovator’s Forum on “Choosing the Right Financing Mechanism and the Right Partner”. Entrepreneurs and innovators were educated about how high-technology start-ups should decide on their funding strategy and what they should pay attention to when choosing a partner. The mission of the Innovator’s Forum is to provide innovators with a networking opportunity and fresh insights into the world of start-ups, spin-offs and the management of small, technology businesses.

Verge Partner Tom Stephenson presented as an invited speaker for the March 2007 session of the Center for Commercialization and Entrepreneurial Training (CCET) seminar series in Albuquerque. Tom’s presentation, “Raising Capital” provided an overview of the different avenues for raising capital. CCET is the education/training arm of Technology Ventures Corporation (TVC), in partnership with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

The University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management recently opened a New Student Event Center. The new center includes The Radosevich Room for Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship which will serve as a center for Anderson students engaged in economic development, entrepreneurship, and management of technology projects.
