Verge portfolio company TruTouch Technologies announces the appointment of Timothy Tigner as Executive Vice President. Tigner has more than 20 years experience in the international medical device industry and earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Tigner, formerly with FoxHollow Technologies and JNJ, is responsible to drive TruTouch’s sales strategies for multiple new products into new market applications.

In addition to the $1.2 million in February 2006, Verge portfolio company Wellkeeper Inc. has received an $850,000 venture investment.
