Verge Invests in TruTouch Technologies

New Mexico seed fund Verge announced its investment in TruTouch Technologies, Inc. as part of a $2.4 million financing round. The financing round, led by Verge ($750,000), included Flywheel Ventures ($750,000), Fort Washington Capital Partners ($750,000), and New Mexico Community Capital ($150,000). TruTouch brings the Verge portfolio of companies to 4 — all New Mexico technologies, all early stage.

Verge Announces Investment in Altela

Verge announces its investment in Altela, Inc, a global provider of water desalination and remediation services to the oil, natural gas, and mineral extraction industries. Verge General Managing Partner Thomas Stephenson will join the Board of Directors of Altela as a result of the financing.

Verge Invests in Patchwork Systems

Verge announces its investment in PatchWork Systems of Albuquerque. Founded by Donna S. Campbell, a long-time Sandia National Laboratory employee and Oracle Applications expert, PatchWork Systems Patch Administration Tool (PAT) reduces the risks and costs associated with maintaining Oracle Applications 11i. Verge partner Bill Bice will play an active role in PatchWork Systems management.
