The College of Engineering at New Mexico State University has announced the addition of Verge partner and co-founder David Durgin to its Dean’s Advisory Council. In this capacity, Durgin is working with the college and with the Arrowhead Center to help NMSU structure its approach to technology commercialization.
Verge Partner Speaks at CCET Seminar
Verge Partner Tom Stephenson is to be kick-off speaker for the first 2005 session of the Center for Commercialization and Entrepreneurial Training (CCET) seminar series in Albuquerque. Tom’s presentation is: “Introduction to Commercializing a Product” and will provide an overview to commercialization, business plans and ethics to the seminar participants. Coronado Ventures Forum to Feature Verge Partner
Verge Partner Bill Bice is to be the featured speaker at the next Coronado Ventures Forum meeting on November 18, 2004. Bill’s topic is Developing Entrepreneurial Culture in Start-ups, and will be based upon his experience as Founder and CEO of ProLaw Software of Albuquerque.
The Coronado Ventures Forum provides education and networking opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs from around New Mexico, but focuses on Northern New Mexico.
Verge Helps Found Venture Capital Association
Verge joins other founding members of the New Mexico Venture Capital Association in announcing the creation of the new statewide trade association. Verge Partner Tom Stephenson is serving as the founding President and a Director of the organization.
