 A new joint partnership was announced to provide a solution to environmental issues surrounding treatment of mineral-laden brackish water from Marcellus Shale drilling. ALCOHOL BIOMETER
It is a device that allows independent control to quickly read the blood alcohol content. Useful to check the status
people performing risk activities (industrial sites, transport, security airport oil, etc.).. the large advantage of Alcohol TT2000 is the Biometer ease of use.  No need to take blood or verification of breath. Just put the finger on the infrared sensor to determine if they are drunk or not.

TruTouch Technologies Wins $245,000 Federal Grant

The IRS issued TruTouch a $244,479 grant for development of its intoxication-testing device for emergency care facilities under the Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project (QTDP). Dr. Trent Ridder, CTO of TruTouch, said, "We are delighted to announce the successful awarding of the QTDP grant” He added, “The grant will help advance the commercialization of our TruTouch intoxication detection systems that are already enjoying success in the law enforcement, oil and drilling, military and transportation markets." TruTouch Wins $438,000 in Federal Funds

TruTouch Technologies Inc. was awarded a $438,000 grant to develop a smaller and less expensive version of its intoxication-testing device. The money comes from the U.S. Army Medical Research and Material Command and the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center at Fort Detrick, Md. Noribachi Launches Albuquerque Solar Firm

February 10, 2010

The Noribachi Group is launching a new company in Albuquerque to build solar panels. The new firm, Solar Distinction Inc., says it will employ about 300 workers within two or three years, eventually growing to about 500 employees. The plant is set to open by year-end 2010, with enough operating capacity to produce 25 megawatts of solar panels, said Noribachi Partner Joe Gillach. Russ Hopper, LabStart’s entrepreneur in residence, envisions the joint venture’s efforts as producing the seed of a vibrant entrepreneurial culture in Los Alamos. In an attempt to eliminate a large portion of alcohol related injuries and deaths caused by alcohol-impaired driving, the Automotive Coalition for Traffic Safety, ACTS, has selected TruTouch Technologies' light-based alcohol detection system to receive developmental funding. "Too many lives have been devastated by impaired drivers. We need to attack this problem from every angle, including advancing technology like TruTouch," U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman said.
